Sewing For Ages 11+ - Introduction To The Sewing Machine & Making Pyjama Shorts
This fun and practical 4-week sewing course is perfect for young creatives aged 11 and over who want to learn how to use a sewing machine and make something they can be proud of wearing!
Takes place at The Sewing Sanctuary on Princes Street in Harrogate.

Workshop Outline
Over the four sessions, students will:
✨ Learn the basics of setting up and using a sewing machine
✨ Practice essential stitches and techniques
✨ Read and follow a simple sewing pattern
✨ Create their very own pair of comfy pyjama shorts to take home.
This course is designed to build confidence step-by-step in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Whether your child is brand new to sewing or has tried a little before, they’ll gain valuable skills and finish with a handmade garment they can proudly say, “I made that!”
