One to One Dressmaking Lessons
I offer one to one dressmaking lessons at beginner to intermediate level for those in the Harrogate, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge areas.
Lessons are £20 per hour** and will be at a location agreed with the participant.

How to work with a sewing pattern
Learn how to understand and interpret a commercial dressmaking pattern.
Learn how to take accurate body measurements
Learn where and how to take the key measurements required for dressmaking with any pattern
Basic pattern drafting
Learn some very basic pattern drafting techniques such as:

Bring along a project that you would like support with
Bring along a dressmaking project that you would like some support with at beginner / intermediate level
Dressmaking techniques
Work through a series of beginner to intermediate level dressmaking techniques to support your dressmaking practice. Making samples of each technique to add to a journal which you can take home and refer back to whenever needed
