Welcome to the final part of my button series: How to make a fabric covered button
Take your piece of fabric and identify which area you want to use for the button if there is a specific pattern on it.
Draw around the template to create a circle and then carefully cut that out.
Take the button maker, place your circle of fabric over the top with the side of the fabric you want on the button facing down.
Then place the main button piece on the fabric, again facing down.
Push the button down into the button maker until it reaches the bottom - the fabric should be sandwiched between the button itself and the button maker.
Push the edges of the fabric into the middle all the way round and then push the button back down into the maker enclosing the edges of the fabric.
Once it's firmly secured inside you can pop the finished button out of the button maker tool and you're done!
